(Definition of an air transport Hub)
-Just simply, a hub airport is a center airport.
-And from this main airport, all small, medium sized airports are linked.
-It acts as switching centers so it intermediates flows between multiple origins and multiple destinations.
-Airline companies first gather both passengers and cargos to this hub airport and from there, they are re-gathered and later spread in to other destinations.
-This is to higher the volume, and as a result, decreases a unit price.
-Also, another advantage is that this main airport allows flights to arrive from multiple outlying origins within a short period of time
 

Now, what is needed to become a hub?

-Studies have been done do determine the features to become a successful hub airport.
 (1.Geographical Location)
-Firstly, strategic location is the most important element to become a hub airport.
-Due to beneficial location, total mileage can be minimized. This means traveling time and the cost can also be minimized.
 
(2. Reasonable Aeronautical Charges)
-Next is about charges.
-Airline companies search better financial position to control their operating costs to the lowest.
-The airport with high aeronautical charges will lose its competitiveness in the market, so it is important to balance this charge.
